Press Release: Garage Hive in the running for industry award

Community-focused garage management system Garage Hive is delighted to have been nominated for ‘Industry Partner’ at the CAT Awards 2023.

The renowned networking lunch and awards event has been confirmed for Thursday, 9th February, returning to the five-star Lowry Hotel in the heart of Manchester.

A total of ten awards will be made across a range of categories, including Environmental, Rising Stars and Training Programme of the Year.

The Industry Partner award – already open for votes at https://surveys.haymarket.com/s3/CAT-Industry-Partner-award-2023 – is a diverse category for those supporting the aftermarket with professional services.

“We were grateful to have been nominated by members of our customer community,” said Ray Dilsons, Managing Director of Garage Hive. “That is recognition

enough so we were absolutely delighted to hear we had also made the shortlist alongside some established and well-respected businesses.”

Garage Hive has been growing its user community of independents by placing customers at the centre of activities. Many report dramatic improvements in business performance across a range of measures after adopting Garage Hive.

Last year saw extensive system developments. These included the automated addition of external reviews (such as Google and Trustpilot), real-time gross profit targeting and tracking, ‘stopwatch’ measurements to monitor process flows as well as improvements to the existing online booking facility.

The Nottingham-based business also found time to host its ‘biggest and best ever’ industry conference, with The Blend attracting 230 delegates to Birmingham’s Eastside Rooms in September.

Garage Hive also launched ‘Garage Industry Trends’ to show live aggregated data free of charge from opted-in customers. The benchmarking metrics allow anyone to view ‘averages’ for invoice value, labour rate and the number of future bookings.
