Garage Hive’s latest update adds the ability for Service Advisors to assign the jobs to themselves with the “Assign to me” button – This button is available on Jobsheets, Estimates and VHC’s.
The update also allows for users to assign documents to other Service Advisors.
Assigning a document to a Service Advisor will remove it from the red tiles on the homepage for other Service Advisors, meaning users can only see jobs assigned to themselves and unassigned jobs.
This allows for a more focused team of Service Advisors and a quicker turnaround of authorisations.
The feature also considers general managers, who are able to see all documents regardless of assignment, allowing them to see the current status of your workshop and to assign jobs manually to particular Service Advisors.
