Community-driven garage management software developer Garage Hive has confirmed an exciting speaker line-up for The Blend 2022.
The single-day conference will begin with the keynote address before delegates can choose between three sets of three alternative sessions on either side of a lunch break.
Founding speakers Jennifer Hooper of HR Vitals, David Massey of ADS Automotive and John Batten of Auto IQ are all back by popular demand.
Expert technologist Simon Gurney from official event partners Castrol will explain the opportunities around oil selection, whilst Gavin White, CEO of Autotech Group, will look at issues impacting technician recruitment and training.
The common thread from all the industry speakers will be exploring ways garage owners or managers can run their businesses more productively using the right systems.
The extended roster of industry speakers also features author and garage owner Hayley Pells, Mark Webb of Garage Vitals and Kris Gordon of Mental Health Coffee Club.
Sessions explaining and making the best use of software features will be delivered by Garage Hive team members, including Alex Lindley, Rhys Hill and Tom Langridge.

Despite The Blend being Garage Hive’s most ambitious event yet, it will run over one day only on 17th September at The Eastside Rooms, Birmingham’s newest conference venue.
“We’re packing in a wealth of genuinely useful information for garages, with the aim being to offer ideas or strategies they can take away and apply to make their business lives easier,” said Ray. “We’re delighted with the range and expertise of the speakers who have agreed to support The Blend this year, so are looking forward to an exciting event.”

The Penygroes Service Centre located in South Wales was founded in 2014 by Jonathan. He has extensive 17 years of experience in the industry. However, Jon found himself doing a lot of manual labour for data management to keep a finger on the pulse of the business. Therefore, joined Garage Hive's garage management software in March 2021 and has already seen a significant improvement in his garage, an increase in gross profit and has achieved a great NPS® Score.
Tom and Kayleigh runs their garage TR Autos in Yeovil, Somerset. They joined Garage Hive last year. Tom has two decades of industry experience , both practical and technician side and now business as TR Autos was founded in 2008; since then the team has grown, practices have moved away from paper diaries to garage management software, their productivity has increased and they also have moved into bigger premises.
PW Auto Repairs was founded in 2015 by Paul Whetton, who has 23 years of industry experience and has always wanted to be a technician. Diana Whetton joined and, as she said in her own words, "came as temporary help but never left!" They found and started using Garage Hive in 2020. The business now has seven staff members, including Paul and Diana.
