GSF Car Parts announces Garage Hive integration
National motor factor GSF Car Parts has announced a new partnership with garage management software specialist Garage Hive. AlliCat Online, the leading parts catalogue operated by GSF Car Parts, is now fully integrated with Garage Hive.
That means Garage Hive customers can access GSF’s comprehensive catalogue of OE-quality parts and guidance along with real-time price and availability from GSF Car Parts’ national UK network of over 180 branches. Garages can then also order the parts needed at the click of a button.
The new integration means Garage Hive users can generate better customer estimates, using accurate prices to answer service and repair enquiries immediately.
For each part, garages can see their actual cost price as well as local branch availability. It’s straightforward to select the ‘basket’ of parts required and add them to a job in Garage Hive. A purchase order can then be generated and sent from the system straight to the branch.
“Making parts prices visible within Garage Hive and then powering self-service ordering is a real-time-saver,” said Ray Dilsons, Managing Director of Garage Hive. “At the point of the initial enquiry, garages have no need to open other systems to look up parts prices. Adding part numbers and prices to a job can now be done in seconds as can parts ordering.”
All parts purchase orders are time and date stamped automatically for full traceability. The new parts integration dovetails perfectly with the existing connectivity to Autodata which provides accurate job times within Garage Hive.
Head of Garage Programmes at GSF Car Parts Paul Dineen said: “We’re thrilled to be introducing Garage Hive customers to AlliCat Online, making it quick and easy for users of one of the best garage management systems to access our leading online catalogue.
“GSF provides a first-class service to aftermarket customers through our extensive range and excellent availability, so we’re looking forward to building strong relationships with Garage Hive users as part of our digital development programme.”
AlliCat Online is designed and driven by GSF’s in-house development team, which is focused on continually improving the system based on user feedback and software innovation.
